Nashville Favorites - July 2024.

With every season of life, there are new Nashville favorites. July has been HOT and BUSY. That being said, I’ve been gravitating towards slower vibes and air-conditioned spaces. Here are a few of my favorite things I’ve been doing this month (July 2024).

I’ve been obsessing over summer produce lately, which has led me to the Franklin Farmer’s Market and a few other produce pop-ups every week. I’ve been loading up on corn, zucchini, peaches, etc., and supporting local farmers is my favorite (and the most delicious) way to do this. My favorite booth at the Franklin Farmer’s Market has been Delvin Farms. Along with the typical selection of produce, they oftentimes are selling a bulk bag of mixed produce for a flat $35, which I love because it challenges me to cook with ingredients I might not grab on a normal day.

This month I’ve been back in my home decor kick, focusing on filling some of the spaces in my own home that I’ve been putting off. The Invision Design Showroom has been my favorite place to do this. Invision is a showroom of extremely well-curated home decor and furniture pieces that they source from various markets, vintage dealers, etc. Think Restoration Hardware with a more homey, organic flare. The business has only a few pop-ups per month, for which you can find dates on their Instagram. I snagged the best Turkish runner and some coffee table goodies this month.

Lastly, I have gotten out a tad, so I do have a few new and old favorites in the eating and drinking space. Fancy Pants opened this month in quickly-growing East Nashville, and it was such a fun experiential meal. They present a modern twist to fine dining with a gorgeous space and a meticulous food and drink menu. Crazy enough, I had never tried Folk in East Nashville until this month and it is absolutely a new favorite. The Coral Club opened in East as well, which is the most Tulum thing you’ll find in Nashville - a great place for a happy hour margarita or tiny ‘tini. And last but not least, I’d like to remind everyone that Burger Up in 12 South is still my favorite spot. “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”, right? I have to get my burger fix and an occasional seasonal cocktail, and that’s exact what I did this past weekend.
